Is this healthy or fattening?

its fine if you don't eat it every day. you could try eating it without salt since salt is in every processed food you buy. as for making an omelette any other way, you can microwave it, but the taste isn't the same and you still need oil. people say fried foods aren't good for you because they think all fried food is saturated in fat while its really only deep fried food that is, what you're describing is fine, we all need some fat in our diets to keep our nerves healthy.
