+ Pregnancy test? please help.?

I took a pregnancy test this morning. the brand was a boots own one with the blue doted lines. well on my test i had the line that would apear as tho you not pregnant and where there + line should be there was a few dots as tho there is ment to be a line. would u say this is a + result? other wise why would these dots have apeared? i am going to test agin in a weeks time as my period does not fill like it is going to come. and i have got a few signs as tho i am pregnant, but i am still unsure. please if anyone can give any info that would be great.
