Carry-on bag question?

This is my first time flying and I'll be packing for like, five days and will not be coming back via plane. Is this bag right here http://store.nike.com/index.jsp?sitesrc=uslp&country=US&lang_locale=en_US#l=shop,pdp,ctr-inline/cid-1/pid-305401/pgid-284114 too big for a carry-on bag? And if I could fit all my stuff in it, would it be okay for me to do that?
