Should I get rid of these things??HELP cleanin out the closet?

You can always sell the Dr Martens, or keep them. I don't suggest giving them away. I think with the stuff you don't know what to do with, pretend you're going to give them away, how do you feel? Sad, or like you don't care. If you feel sad, I suggest keeping them, and if you don't care, give them away. Also, you could just post them on eBay or on KIJIJI. If they sell, then you'd be getting rid of them, and if they don't sell, you ultimately get to keep it.
