My dog broke her leg a few years back, will this leg give her trouble when shes old?

We got our dog a few years back from a puppy farm and she was in very bad shape, she had mange and was underfed, she still loved to play around and jump about everywhere but jumped off the sofa and broke her leg quite badly, we think this was due to her malnutrition; her bones were brittle, so she had to have specialist surgery to repair her leg. She was a few months old when that happened and now she is 5 and seems perfectly healthy and never has problems with the leg. She is a Lakeland terrier crossed with a Patterdale terrier. She is still quite active though does lay in bed a lot but i thinks thats just because shes lazy.
